Vintage DC Thompson Rare The Dandy 50th Birthday Special Issue Weekly Comic No. 2402 5th December 1987 - Ex Shop Stock. Released by DC Thompson and is issue No. 2402 dated 5th December 1987. The comic features full colour and mono strip stories, information and quizzes featuring all your favourite Dandy Characters including Korky The Cat, Desperate Dan, Mith And His Mummy, Dinah Mo, The Burd, Bananaman, Bully Beef, Smasher & many more. However the free poster is not included as it has been lost in the passage of time. The comic is in near mint condition, which is amazing when you consider it is now over 39 years old. The front and back pages are still nice and clean and bright & colourful with no visual signs of any wear. Internally all pages are also in fantastic condition with no signs of any writing or damage or wear to any page. An almost perfect copy of a vintage magazine, other than the paper is beginning to discolour on the edges due to age and the type of paper that was used back in the 1980's. Comes Bagged & Boarded.
