Vintage ERTLs 1981 The Dukes Of Hazzard Play Set - With 5 x 1/64 Scale Die-Cast Model Vehicles, Buildings, Trees And Play Surface - Fantastic Condition Ultra Rare Item - In The Original Box. Released by ERTL in 1981 when the Dukes Of Hazzard was at the height of its popularity during its first run on television. This fantastic The Dukes Of Hazzard Play Set includes a giant 17" by 21" play surface with a road and dirt track, and also includes fiberboard buildings of Cooters Garage, The Hazzard County Courthouse, The Dukes House and Boars Nest plus a Bridge, and Trees and a sign, as well as 5 x 1/64 scale die-cast metal model vehicles which includes - The General Lee, Daisy's jeep, Boss Hoggs Cadillac, Cooters Pick-up Truck and Roscoes Patrol Car and of course the instructions. The playset is in very good condition over all, which is amazing considering its age, but hardly surprising as it was only ever used as a display unit. The buildings ar all in very good condition and still slot together nicely and look great, as do the trees and the bridge, sadly however part of the sign is missing, it must have fallen out of the box at some point and has been lost. The diecast models are all in mint condition with no visual signs of any marks or damage to any of the vehicles. The box however has suffered from some shelf wear and minor squashing due to the way it was stored on a shelf, but is complete and displays very well.
