ITEM DESCRIPTION
An authentic, complete vintage edition of the classic English round game "Happy Families," manufactured by H. P. Gibson & Sons Ltd., London.
This set is 100% complete and includes all 52 playing cards (representing the 13 traditional families, featuring the iconic illustrations by Richard Doyle) along with the original printed paper rules sheet.
Condition:
  • Cards: Complete set of 52. Pre-owned vintage condition with natural age-toning and light wear consistent with age, but clean and highly presentable.
  • Rules Sheet: Present and intact, displaying original text and full family list.
  • Box: Original outer slipcase is included, showing standard shelf wear, corner scuffs, and aging typical of a 1930s paper game, but it holds together well.
Please see the photos for a detailed look at the exact items and condition.
Perfect for collectors of vintage British tabletop games, traditional card games, or antique ephemera.
