Vintage Smiths Bill And Ben The Flowerpot Men Novelty Pocket Watch - In Working Condition - Ultra Rare. Not sure when this novelty pocket watch was produced, and I can't seem to find any information on it at all. I can only tell you that it was part of a collection of Bill and Ben merchandise that we bought from an elderly lady, whose late husband was an avid collector of rare TV themed merchandise and had been collecting merchandise since the 1950's. Unfortunately the lady had no idea about any of the items, or where they came from or when they became part of the collection. So we will have to leave this to you to decide.  This pocket watch features an image of Bill and Ben in their flower pots with weed in the middle. Above the image it has the name Smiths printed in black, and below the image it has The Flowerpot Men printed in black and the numbers are also in black. The watch is 50mms in diameter and has a chrome case and is operated by a winding mechanism at the top which also adjusts the hands when pressed and turned. A handle is attached to the top top the watch to attach the to a pocket chain. The watch is in working condition and you can hear the watch ticking when the watch is wound. Despite having no history on this item, it is still a truly wonderful ultra rare vintage item from one of our favourite children's shows from the early 1950's.
