Vintage Keele St Pottery1962 Gerry Andersons A P Films Supercar Small Mug - Fantastic Condition - Ultra Rare Item. Released by Keele St Pottery Co Ltd in 1962, when Supercar was on its original television run. This fantastic mug, features an image of Supercar under the sea, being piloted by Mike Mercury with Jimmy in the passenger seat with the caption "Supercar Explores The Ocean Bed". On the opposite side it features the Supercar Logo of the time. The mug measures 8cms tall by 7cms wide at the top and 5 1/2cms wide at the bottom, and 10cms wide when including the handle. The mug is in fantastic condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now over 63 years old, the images are still very bright and colourful with no signs of any fading, which is hardly surprising as it spent its entire life in a display cabinet.
