Released by Collins in 1968 to tie in with the release of the new blockbuster movie. This fantastic The Adventures Of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - A Special Motion Picture Edition Hardback Book is an abridged version of the story, complete with colour photographs on every page to accompany the text which are taken from the movie which starred Dick Van Dyke, Sally Ann Howes, Lionel Jeffries, Gert Frobe, Benny Hill and Anna Quayle. The book is in fantastic condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now over 56 years old, the front and back covers are nice, clean and bright with only the smallest signs of any wear on the tips of the corner edges. The spline is also in fantastic condition, with practically no visual signs of any wear, but has faded slightly. Internally the book is in near mint condition, all 60 pages are present and attached, they are clean and bright without any form of damage or markings on any page.  A truly wonderful very rare vintage hardback book from yesteryear.
