Vintage Milton Bradley 1950 Official Hopalong Cassidy The  Board Game - Based On The Popular TV Series - Fantastic Condition In The Original Box. Released by Milton Bradley in 1950 as part of their series of TV tie in board games. This fantastic Official Hopalong Cassidy Board Game is a game of the real west for 2, 3 or 4 players.  Hopalong Cassidy, the county Sheriff, has been notified that there are outlaws hiding in the nearby hills. Rewards are up to $12000.00 are offered for the capture of some of these men. Hopalong sends a posse, comprised of deputies (2 each player), to bring in these law breakers: taking them prisoners, bringing them into the Sheriff's office and collecting the reward money. The game board represents the wild country where the action takes place. The centre of the board is the Sheriffs office with Hopalong Cassidy pictured there. The corners of the board show the hideouts where the bandits are hidden. Between the Sheriff's office and the hideouts, many trails lead in all directions. These trails are followed by the posse to round up the bandits and bring them to Hopalong's office. The winner of the game is the one that has collected the most amount of reward money when all bandits have been captured. The game is in very good condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now over 76 years old, it is fully complete with all pieces present and the instructions printed on the inside of the box lid. The box is also in very good condition for its age, but does have some wear which is mainly along the edges and has had a couple of the corners of the lid repaired with clear tape.
