Vintage Rare 1950's Set Of 2 Hopalong Cassidy Favors Spun Honey Drinks Coaster / Mat Set - Unused. Released sometime in the 1950's when Hopalong Cassidy was one of the most popular Television Shows of the time. During the height of his popularity in the early 1950s, actor William Boyd consolidated the rights to the Hopalong Cassidy character and became the king of cowboy merchandise licensing. This fantastic set of two drinks coasters or drinks mats was part of a promotional campaign for Spun Honey, a sweet novelty spread advertised with the slogan "Spreads Like Butter".  The image features Hopalong Cassidy on his famous white horse, Topper, waving a lasso against a bold yellow and black background, measuring 4 inches in diameter with a plain white back. Fantastic near mint condition unused coaster mats from over 75 years ago. A truly fantastic example of a vintage Hopalong Cassidy merchandise from yesteryear.
