Vintage 1973 The Dr Who Colouring Book Staring Jon Pertwee As The Dr - Ultra Rare - Facsimile Edition 2013 - Brand New Shop Stock Room Find. Released originally in 1973 by World Distributors as part of a series of Doctor Who Coluring Books, with this edition being reprinted in 2013. This fantastic Doctor Who Colouring Book is 64 pages each with a drawing to colour whch loosely tells a story in which the Third Doctor, his assistant Jo Grant and UNIT battled aliens, historical figures, a giant octopus and so on. Several of the drawings were lifted from publicity stills from 'Day of the Daleks', 'Terror of the Autons' and 'Frontier in Space', and the cover photograph was from 'The Time Monster. The original books from 1973 are now almost impossible to find, and if you are lucky to find one for sale they fetch upwards of £200 each now. In 2013 a limited run of facsimile copies was produced in Finland for the 40th anniversary of the original release of the book. Although not from 1973, it is an exact replica of the original down to the smallest detail and as these were produced in such a limited run, have now become highly sort after and very valuable.
