Vintage 1965 Frederick Muller Doctor Dr Who And The Crusaders By David Whitaker Hardback Book - First Edition. Published by Frederick Muller Limited in 1965 and is the first edition of this fantastic novel which is based on the TV Episodes The Crusaders. Back on Earth again, the Tardis lands The Doctor and his companions into the midst of the harsh, cruel world of the twelfth - century Crusades. Soon the adventurers are embroiled in the conflict between Richard the Lionheart and the Sultan Saladin, ruler of the warlike Saracens. The book is in very good condition over all which is amazing considering its over 60 years old. The front and back covers are nice and clean and bright with only some very minor signs of wear on the edge tips, but does have some punch marks on the corners which look like indentations from a pen or something similar, but have not penetrated the covers (see photos). The spline is also in very condition, again with only minor signs of wear on the top and bottom edges. Internally the book is in fantastic condition with all 160 pages are present and attached, they are clean and bright without any damage or markings on any page. Sadly though the book is missing the dust cover. Still A truly amazing very very rare item which is ideal for the true Dr Who collector.
