Vintage Gerry Andersons Fireball XL5 Novelty Pocket Watch - In Working Condition - Ultra Rare. Not sure when and who produced this novelty pocket watch, and I can't seem to find any information on it at all. I can only tell you that it was part of a collection of Gerry Andersons merchandise that we bought from an elderly lady, whose late husband was an avid Gerry Andersons fan and had been collecting merchandise since the early 1960's. Unfortunately the lady had no idea about any of the items, or where they came from or when they became part of the collection. So we will have to leave this to you to decide.  This pocket watch features an image of the Fireball XL5 Space Ship flying through space with a moving hand at the bottom as the seconds tick with an outline saying Fireball XL5. The watch is 50mms in diameter and has a chrome case and is operated by a winding mechanism at the top which also adjusts the hands when pressed and turned. A handle is attached to the top top the watch to attach the to a pocket chain. The watch is in working condition and the second hand rotates when the watch is wound. Despite having no history on this item, it is still a truly wonderful ultra rare vintage item from one of our favourite Gerry Anderson shows.
