Vintage 1950's Spears Games - Mickey Mouse Theatre - In The Original Box With letter From Richard Spear. Released by Spears Games in the 1950's as part of their series of toy Theatres and is based on Walt Disney's Disneyland. This fantastic Mickey Mouse Theatre is the perfect theatre for those up and coming producers and directors. The theatre has everything you need to put on a |Disney show and includes three little plays for you to produce for your audience including - 1) The Magic Mushrooms, 2, Goofy's Paper Chase, 3, Birthday Muddle, or of course you can create your own play for those with a more active imagination. The Mickey Mouse Theatre is in fantastic condition which is amazing in its self considering its age, it includes two Stage Backdrops, Curtain, Characters, Side Scenes, Three Plays and full instructions which are printed in the lid. Sadly one of the wires that holds the side scenes upright is missing, but wouldn't be to hard to replicate, although it is not really necessary as the scenes stand well unaided. This particular Mickey Mouse Theatre was a former Toy Museum item, that was given to the Toy Museum free off charge by Richard Spear who was one of the directors of Spears Games at the time, and includes the letter that was sent to the toy museum in London with the item. Comes in the original box which is also in very good condition for its age, however it does have some minor wear, which is mainly on the corner edges.
