Up for sale is a wonderful piece of mid-century British toy history: an original 1950s/1960s Fairylite Word Puzzle, complete with its original cardboard box. Manufactured in England, this vintage pocket dexterity game is a classic sliding-tile mechanical word puzzle.

  • Marbled Plastic Frame: This example features the highly collectible dark swirled/marbled plastic backing and frame, rather than the standard plain solid colors.
  • Complete Set: Includes all 15 plastic letter tiles (featuring the iconic vintage red and black lettering) inside the frame, still sliding smoothly.
  • Original Box Included: The original outer box is included, featuring striking 1950s typographic design on the front. Crucially, the back of the box is completely intact and legible, displaying all 12 "Sample Solutions" (Horizontal and Vertical combinations) used to solve the puzzle.
