Vintage Gerry Anderson's Thunderbirds Are Go Large Paperback Book. Released in 1991 by Boxtree in association with ITC Entertainment Group marking the return of Thunderbirds to main stream television for the first time since 1966. Published to tie in with a repeat transmission of 32 hour-long episodes of "Thunderbirds" on BBC2, this book traces the history and background of the futuristic series involving puppet heroes such as Jeff Tracy, Brains and Lady Penelope. Their personalities and biographical details are given, together with interviews with key characters and information about the voices behind them. Attention is paid to the functions and features of the Thunderbird machines - and Lady Penelope's pink Rolls-Royce, with its formidable array of gadgets, is not forgotten. The book also contains interviews with the creator of the series, Gerry Anderson, and its scriptwriters and production staff, and other features include information of Thunderbirds memorabilia and details of fan clubs. Shop Stock Room Find. Discovered in the store room of a closing down shop, I don't think it was ever sold or read due to a few creases and a small amount of shelf wear on the corner edge tips, and some minor distortion from lying on a shelf for 25 years. All orders received before 4.00pm Monday to Fridays are shipped the same day.
