Vintage Merit Ultra Rare 1950's Dan Dare - 2 Way Walkie Talkie Set By J & L Randall Ltd - Cat No. 3100 - Complete In The Original Box. Released by J & L Randall Ltd in the 1950's as part of there series of Dan Dare themed merchandise. This fantastic Dan Dare 2 Way Walkie Talkie Set includes two Handsets with easily detachable plugs, push button planetary selectors and retractable aerials and the connecting cable. Hold the mouthpiece close to your lips, and talk slowly and clearly, hold the mouthpiece to your ear, and you will hear what your friend at the other end is saying. No batteries required and is magnetically powered and works up to 1000 feet. This Dan Dare 2 Way Walkie Talkie Set is in very good condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now over 70 years old. The handsets are in very good condition, they are fully complete and functioning. The cable is also in very good condition, and is fully connected to the plugs. Comes complete in the original box which is also in fantastic condition, it is still nice clean and bright and very solid, with only some very minor wear on the corner edges but displays fantastically.
