Vintage 1973 Popeye Annual Number One. Released by Brown Watson Ltd in late 1972 for the upcoming 1973 year. This fantastic Popeye Annual includes Stories, Comic Strip Stories, Puzzles and Games featuring the world famous Popeye The Sailor Man together with his lovable lady Olive and his little Baby Sweet Pea as well as his old friend Wimpy and his arch enemy Brutus. The annual is in good condition over all, which is amazing considering that it is now over 47 years old. The front and back covers are clean and bright with the only wear being on the edges. The spline is also in very good solid condition, but does have some minor shelf wear on the bottom edge. Internally the book is in very good condition, all pages are present and attached, they are clean and bright with out and signs of damage or markings on any page other than a tiny section on the bottom right hand corner of every page appears to have been cut away, but this does not affect the book in any way, also the second two last page has had something stuck to it at some point, and has been opened, but some of the test has been scuffed away so it is only half readable. The annual has not been price clipped, it still shows the original purchase price of 65p on the bottom corner of the first page. Despite its few flaws, it is still a very nice find of a vintage Popeye Annual from yesteryear. All orders received before 4.00pm Monday to Fridays are shipped the same day
