Vintage 1973 The Making Of Star Trek - The Book On How To Write For TV By Stephen E Whitfield And Gene Roddenberry. Released by Ballantine Books originally in 1968, and reprinted in 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 and this version reprinted in 1973. This fantastic The Making Of Star Trek is the only book of its kind and includes the complete history of a top TV series of the time and shows how a television show is conceived, written, sold and produced. For would be TV writers, directors and producers, this will be an education in itself, a polished but non-varnished look at how TV really works. Includes 64 pages of black and white photos of the sets, props, the stars and behind the scenes footage. The book is in very good over all condition, which is amazing considering that it is now over 47 years old. The front and back covers are still nice and bright, but does have some wear which is mainly along the edges and come folding and creasing marks on the front cover. The spline is also in very good condition but does have some minor wear on the top and bottom edges and some creasing where the book has been read. Internally the book is in very good condition all 480 pages are present and attached, they are clean and bright without any signs of damage or wear or markings on any page, other than the page edges are beginning to brown slightly due to age and the type of paper that was used back in the day. A truly fantastic example of a very rare vintage Star Trek paperback book from yesteryear. All Orders received before 4.00pm Mondays to Fridays are dispatched the same day.
