Vintage Ian Allan's Locospotters Annual 1959. Released by Ian Allan Publications in late 1958, as part of their series of books on trains. This fantastic vintage annual is for rail enthusiasts with a selection of articles both historic and contemporary on a variety of trains and railway subjects of the time. This annual is in good condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now over 60 years old, the front and back covers are nice, bright and colourful, but does have some wear which is mainly on the edges. The spline is in good solid condition but has lost part of the paper covering both at the top and bottom (see photos). Internally the book is in very good condition, all 64 pages are present and attached, they are all clean and bright without any form of writing or damage on any page. The Annual has not been price clipped, it still shows the original purchase price of 6/6 on the bottom corner of the first page. A truly fantastic example of a vintage annual from 1959.
