Vintage 1953 The Little Red Lorry - A Cherub Story  Book With Dust Cover - Fantastic Condition Very Rare Hardback Book. Released by Sampson Low in 1953 and was part of their Cherub Series Of Childrens Books. This fantastic The Little Red Lorry book is the story of what happens to the Little Red Lorry and his driver Jimmy and the all sorts of interesting loads that the lorry carries. Written by Sheila Hodgetts and superbly illustrated by Vera Rice-Jay. The book is in very good condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now over 53 years old. The front and back covers are nice and bright with only some very very minor signs of wear on the tips of the corner edges. The spline is also in very good condition, again with the only wear being on the tips of the top and bottom edges. The dust cover is also in good condition for its age, it has been protected in plastic, however it does have some wear along the edges and has a piece torn out at the bottom on the back side (See Images). Internally the book is in fantastic condition, all 26 pages are present and correct, they are clean and bright without any signs of damage, markings or wear on any page.
