Released by Galoob in 1997 as part of their series of Star Wars Micro Machines Double Takes Action Play Sets. This fantastic Double Takes Death Star Double Action Transforming Play Set opens up to reveal the the planet Tatooine as seen in A New Hope and the features include - Death Star Trench, Vehicle Posts That Simulate Flying, Telescoping Tractor Beam, Hanger Dome, Revolving Vehicle Mount, Docking Bay, Fold Out Landing Pad, Roll Down Ramps, Obi-Wan Kenobi's House, Pop-up Tusken Raider Ambush, Cantina Bandstand, Cantina Bar, Lars Moisture Farm With Flip-Up Subterranean Living Quarters, Secret Access Ramp, Pop-up Secret Land Mine and Flip Over Skeletal Remains. Also includes Obi-Wan Kenobi Mini Figure, Ronto With Jawas Mini Figure and Scurrers Mini Figures. The playset is in fantastic condition, it was only ever used in a display where it spent many years before being returned to the box and stored away in a cupboard. It is in full working condition, and transforms perfectly, some of the stickers are beginning to lift due to age, but this can be easily rectified. The down side is that it is missing a few mini figures, Beru Lars and Owen Lars and also the Millennium Falcom which must have fallen out of the box at some point. Comes in the original box with the inner packing, which is in good solid condition with only some minor signs of wear on the edges. A truly amazing Star Wars playset from 25 years ago.
