Vintage Gerry Andersons Space 1999 Die-Cast Eagle Freighter Dinky Toy No. 360 1975 Complete & Boxed - Shop Stock Room Find. Released by Dinky Toys in 1975, this was the first release from Dinky of the Eagle Freighter Series.The model appeared shortly after the Transporter. The Eagle main body was identical to the Transporter, though a different colour; pod is a metal platform with a revolving disc to store 4 yellow plastic cylinders (with metal top), and a winch line with magnet to carry cylinders. The Eagle has chrome engines with red nozzles and has red side boosters. Comes complete on the original Dinky card base with plastic bubble cover which is in as near to mint condition as you could get. The Eagle Freighter is also in mint condition, and has never been removed from the packaging. . This is a shop stock room find, it was discovered in the store room of a closed down shop together with many other die-cast from a similar era. It had been hidden away for over 48 years.
