Vintage 1991 Franklin Mint - The Official Star Trek The Original Series 25th Anniversary Pewter Tankard - Shop Stock Room Find. Released by Franklin Mint in 1991 as part of their 25 anniversary items of Star Trek The Original Series. This fantastic Star Trek The Original Series 25th Anniversary Pewter Tankard measures an impressive 7 inches by 6 inches and is crafted in fine lead pewter, hand sculpted and cast and polished. Its handle is adorned with a commemorative minted coin in sterling silver and embelished with 22 caret gold. Its three panels depict the central themes of the original series, Panel 1 depicts the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 soaring through space, Panel 2 depicts portraits of Captain Kirk, Mr Spock and Dr McCoy and Panel 3 depicts The Klingon Cruiser bearing down on the USS Enterprise. Limited edition released only for the 25th anniversary year and includes a mini booklet with certificate of authenticity. Comes in the original Box with the original inner packing and wrap.
