Vintage Mego Corporation 1976 Star Trek The Original Series Super Phaser II Target Game - Fantastic Condition Fully Working In The Original Box. Released by Mego Corporation in 1976 as part of their series of Star Trek Toys and Action Figures. This fantastic Star Trek Super Phaser II Target Game is a projectile-free target game that preceded Laser Tag. The game consisted of two pieces, a replica of the Phaser used in the TV show, and a target reflector badge featuring a picture of a Klingon D7 Battle Cruiser. The Phaser’s light beam and “sonic buzzer device” are powered by two AA batteries and one 9-volt battery. The object of the game is simple: aim, press the trigger, and hit the target with a beam of light. A successful effort results in a buzzing sound. With no moving projectile, the game was originally marketed as “the safest target game ever!” The item is in fantastic condition, which is amazing considering it is now over 44 years old, and is in full working condition and shows virtually no signs of any use. It has been fully tested and is in full working condition. Comes in the original box with the polystyrene inner packing. The inner packing is in fantastic condition, with no damage and holds the contents perfectly well when packed in the box. The box is also in fantastic condition, It is still very strong and solid and is clean and bright but does have some shelf wear, which is mainly on the edges but displays wonderfully.
