Vintage 1980 More Spectacular Star Trek Adventures - The Galactic Whirlpool - Paperback Book - By David Gerpold. The Enterprise comes across a huge, antiquated vessel floating in space and carrying a colony of primitive human beings who have been lost in space. While the colonists are in perfect health, they must deal with the culture shock of learning that a world exists outside of their spaceship. Their initial reaction is fear, as they believe the crew of the Enterprise to be "demons." And their fears are heightened with the belief that Captain Kirk and his crew are unaware of an outside force pulling them into a whirlpool of death. The book is in very good condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now almost 42 years old. The front and back covers are nice clean and bright with only some minor signs of wear owhich is mainly along the edges. The spline is also in very good condition with only minor signs of wear along the edges. Internally the book is in fantastic condition, all 228 pages are present and attached, they are clean and bright without any signs of damage or markings on any page, with the exception of some minor age sports on a few of the pages.
