Vintage 1978 Star Trek Log Ten - Adapted From The Animated TV Series - Paperback Book First Edition - By Alan Dean Foster. Released by Balentine Books in 1978 and is the Tenth and final book in the series of the Log Books adapted from the Animated TV series. This fantastic Log Ten book includes an adaption of an episode that featured in the animated series entitled - Slaver Weapon - A Slaver stasis box - a relic of a fabulous, long dead civilization - is discovered on a remote planet. The Slavers died out millennia ago, but their powerful weapons have been well preserved in these boxes which are found throughout the Galaxy. Whoever possesses such weapons controls a lot of power, and so Kirk and the crew want to get this one into secure hands as quickly as possible. But they are not the only ones who have designs on the Slaver weapon... and the fate of the Federation hangs in the balance. The book is in very good condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now almost 44 years old. The front and back covers are nice clean and bright but does have some signs of shelf wear which is mainly along the edges. The spline is also in very good condition again with only some very minor signs of wear on the edges. Internally the book is in very good condition, all 250 pages are present and attached, they are clean and bright without any signs of damage or markings on any page, with the exception of some minor age sports on a few of the pages.
