The book includes lots of photos, mainly exclusive to this book, candid pictures of the technical crew at work and spectacular shots of those incredible special effects, showing how they work. Schematic diagrams of the stages and the sets, plus a detailed layout of Moonbase Alpha. Interviews with Martin Landau (Commander Koenig) and Barbara Bain (Dr. Helena Russell) and all the stars of the show. Candid conversations with all the technical personnel, the people who made Space 1999 Work. Designers drawings of the sets and costumes, side by side with photos of the actual sets and costumes as they appeared on TV. Detailed plot synopses with cast of characters of the episodes. Frank evaluations of Space 1999 and its critics by the producer and director of the series. Sample shooting schedules, story boards, special effects grids and controversial and eyes only menos. The book is in Very good condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now over 47 year old. The front and back covers are nice clean and bright but does have some wear which is mainly on the edges. The spline is also in very good condition, again with only some minor wear on the edge. Internally the book is in very good condition, all 262 pages are present and attached they are clean and bright without any damage or writing or markings on any pages other than some slight tanning of the page edges due to age and the type of paper used back in the day, and a few age spots on a few pages.
