Vintage 1976 The Six Million Dollar man - The Rescue Of Athena One Paperback Book by Mike Jahn. Released by Star Books in 1976 with this being the first Issue of the paperback which is based on the Six Million Dollar Man TV series. Watching with pride as the Athena One rocket manned by Americas first woman astronaut takes off, Steve Austins thoughts turn to his current brief, to investigate the apparent landing of an alien spacecraft on earth. What he finds is a family of inter-terrestial delegates, only one of which has managed to survive on earth. Then as Steve strives to protect her (for she was a women) from becoming a public freak show, theres a gigantic explosion reported on Athena One. Now with two taxing assignments at his door (the rescue of Athena One and the return of the alien from earth) Steves bionic power is stretched to its farthest limits. Very good copy of a vintage paperback book from 45 years ago. The front and back covers are clean and bright with only some very very minor signs of wear along the edges. The spline is also in very good condition, again with only some minor signs of wear along the edges. Internally the book is in very good condition, all 160 pages are present and attached, they are clean and bright with out and signs of damage or wear or markings on any page.
