Vintage 1974 Mego Corporation Batman's Batmobile Car Boxed Very Rare - Shop Stock Room Find. Released by Mego Corporation in 1974 as an add on to their very successful 8" figure line. This fantastic Batmobile measures a massive 13 inches long by 6 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches tall and is a representation of the 1960's Batmobile as seen in the TV series. The Batmobile sports a black body with silver trim and red interior and is suitable for any of the Mego 8 inch action figures. Former Shop Unsold Stock. This item is as close to mint condition as you will ever get, it was never sold and has never been played with, and was used only as a shop display item. Comes in the original box which is also in fantastic condition, with only minor signs of shelf wear along the edges. A truly amazing vintage item from 50 years ago. All in all a fantastic vintage Mego Batmobile toy from over 4 decades ago.
