Vintage Bandais 1983 Gerry Anderson & Christopher Burrs Terrahawks Hawkwing Action Model - In The Original Box. Released by Bandais in 1983 as part of their series of Terrahawks Toys and Figure range. This fantastic Hawkwing Action Model measures a massive 37cms wide by 21cms long by 10cms tall when fully assembled, it is made of high quality plastic and is true to the on screen version, and the features include - Real Firing Missiles, Retractable Wings on the Main Craft, Press Button Wing Release, Bomb Wing Seperates From The Main Craft,  and Foldable Wing Tips. The set also includes a TerraHawks Badge and Missiles, however sadly only one missile remains as the others have been deployed and lost over the years. Fantastic Condition vintage item, that shows virtualy no signs of any use, and comes in the original box complete with the inner packing. Hawkwing is the second line of defense of the Terrahawks against alien invaders and mainly intended for close quarters combat. At 70 feet in length, with a wingspan of 100 feet, it is well-equipped for the task at hand...with a powerful laser cannon able to shoot anything out of the sky. The ship is more versatile than being a simple interceptor, however. It can separate into two different craft, the wing section and the fighter section, for added versatility in combat...as well as allowing personnel access to the Terrahawks' auxiliary base in Central America. The wing section can also be turned into a giant explosive payload for taking out ships with forcefield technology.
