Vintage 1970's RAF Battle Of Britain Commemoration Set - A limited Edition Lead Figure Set In The Original Box By BCA Military Book Clubs. Released by BCA Military Book Clubs in the 1970's as part of their Battle Of Britain Commemoration Lead Figure Sets. This fantastic RAF Battle Of Britain Commemoration Set is a limited edition of only 500 sets worldwide, and features 3 prominent pilots that all took part in the Battle of Britain, and includes - Wing Commander Robert Stanford Tuck, Squadron Leader Sailor Malan and his dog Peter, and Major Adolf Galand of the German Armed Forces. Each figure stands 2 1/2 inches tall and are hand painted. Comes in the original box which also gives a description of the figures and what the did in the Battle Of Britain. Also includes a lead soldier figure, that did not come with the sat but somehow has been stored together. A truly fantastic ultra rare lead figure set from the 1970's.
