Vintage 1970 Spock Must Die - A Star Trek Novel By James Blish. Released by Bantam Books in 1970 and is based on the television series created by Gene Roddenberry. This fantastic Spock Must Die Star Trek Novel finds Captain Kirk and the crew of the starship Enterprise in the middle of an undeclared war waged by the Klingon Empire. The Organians should be consulted about a war but their entire planet has disappeared or been destroyed. Mr Spock entered the Transporter Chamber. His image would be flashed to Organia by the hugh machines faster than light tachyons. But the experiment failed. Suddenly there was two Mt Spocks. One of them had to be destroyed... But Which One?. The book is in very good over all condition, which is amazing considering that it is now over 50 years old. The front and back covers are still nice and bright, but does have some wear to both covers and along the edges and some creasing marks on a few of the corners and some. The spline is also in very good condition but does have some minor wear on the top and bottom edges and some minor fading. Internally the book is in very good condition all 118 pages are present and attached, they are clean and bright without any signs of damage or wear or markings on any page, other than the page edges are beginning to brown slightly due to age and the type of paper that was used back in the day. Also a name has been wrote on the page edges which can only be seen when the book is closed. A truly fantastic example of a very rare vintage Star Trek paperback novel from yesteryear.
