This fantastic side plate, features an image of Supercar coming out of the sea heading up towards the sky, being piloted by Mike Mercury with Jimmy in the passenger seat with the caption \"Supercar Streaks Out Of The Water\". On the opposite side it features the Supercar Logo of the time. The side plate measures 18cms in diameter and 2cms deep. The side plate is in very good condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now over 63 years old, the images are still very bright and colourful with no signs of any fading, but the gold rim has faded and is now only partly visible, however their are some marks and blemishes and a few chips when you look up close, but displays superbly well. Please do look at the images as they will show you any marks, chips or blemishes and do form part of the description. A truly wonderful ultra rare Supercar side plate from 1962.
