Vintage 1973 Star Trek The Original Series 125 Piece Fully Interlocking Artwork Jigsaw Puzzle - Missing One Piece - In Frame With Original Box. Released by Whitman in 1973 as part of their series of The Original Series artwork Jigsaw Puzzles. The jigsaw when complete measures 38cm X 28.5cm and the image is an animated picture that features Captain Kirk, Mr Spock, Dr McCoy and Mr Scott on an alien planet.  The jigsaw puzzleit is in fantastic condition over all which is amazing considering it is nearly 50 years old, however sadly one piece is missing along the bottom edge, however all the remaining  pieces are all still very colourful and solid and slot together perfectly. The puzzle has been assembled and held in a glass top frame for many many years, which has helped to keep the pieces in pristine condition, although their is a crack along the glass which has had tape stuck over the top (see images). The box is also in excellent condition, it is still nice and solid and very clean and colourful, however it does have some wear, mainly along the edges, and a scuff mark where tape has been removed.  All in all a very nice example of a very very Rare Star Trek Jigsaw from yesteryear.
