Vintage 1969 Matchbox Models Of Yesteryear 1-38 Scale Diecast Replica Y-4 1909 Opel Coupe Car In The Original Box. Released by Matchbox in 1969 as part of their Models Of Yesteryear Y series of Die-cast replica vehicles. This fantastic 1-38 scaled diecast replica model features the 1909 Opel Coupe in White, Cream and red and measures 80mm long by 35mm wide by 45mm high. Introduced as the Opel Doctors Car, this 2 seater Coupe was originally intended as reliable transport for country physicians but soon found favour with other early motorists as well. Selling for 3950 marks, the car featured high pressure tyres on detachable steel rims and its four cylinder 1029 cc engine enabled it to reach 51kmh. Former Shop Window Display Item.
