Vintage AMT/ERTL 1984 Star Trek The Motion Picture Vulcan Shuttle Model Kit With Detachable Shuttle Kit No. 6679 - Former Shop Counter Display Item. Released by AMT/ERTL in 1984 as part of their series of Star Trek The Motion Picture Plastic Model Kits. This fantastic model kit is a reissue of the original model released in 1979, it is an authentic scale model kit that features the Vulcan Shuttle that transported Mr Spock to a rendezvous with the USS Enterprise. The model measures over 10 inches long when complete and includes a display stand and features a detachable shuttle module. This model kit is quality molded in a way which will allow the younger modeler to build an attractive replica without painting. If you should wish to paint the model, follow the pictures on the box for additional colours and details. Former Shop Counter Display Item. Spent several months on display in a shop counter before being returned to the box and retired to the stock room for about 40 years.
