Released by Marvel Comics Group, this is the very first issue number 1 of The Planet Of The Apes long running Comic dated October 26th 1974. The comic features the first part adaptation of the movie The Planet Of The Apes and is entitled Planet Of The Apes. Also includes a 5 page article on the make up used in the movies entitled The Face Of The Apes, and also includes the free Full Colour Apes Poster which is still attached to the center pages. Fantastic Condition Vintage Comic. The front and back covers are still nice and clean and bright with only very very minor signs of wear along the edges. Internally the comic is in fantastic condition, all 34 pages are present and attached, they are clean and bright with no signs of any wear, markings or damage on any page, other than the page edges are very slightly beginning to brown due to age and the type of paper that was used back in the day.
