The Eagle Book Of Aircraft Hardback Book 1953. (No Dust Jacket) Released by Hulton Press in 1953 First Edition, this fantastic Eagle Book of Aircraft covers all aspects of flight that were known about at the time the book was written. Starting with balloons, then kites, the story of the development of aircraft is told in text and pictures right up to the most current aircraft at the end of the 1950's, rockets and helicopters.. The book is in very good condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now over 65 years old. The front and back covers are nice clean and bright with only very minor signs of wear which is on the edges and a few splash marks. The spline is also in very good solid condition again with only some very very minor wear on the edges but has faded a little. Internally the book is in fantastic condition all 192 pages are present and attached, they are clean and bright without any signs of damage or wear or writing on any page other than a name has been wrote inside on the top of the first page. Sadly the dust jacket is not included as it has been lost in the passage of time. A truly fantastic find of a very very very rare vintage Eagle Book from yesteryear.
