Vintage 007 James Bond In Focus Paperback Book 1964. Released by Gildrose Productions in 1964 and is based on the British Spy as played by Sean Connery. In 1964, 007-Mania, though not at its peak, was certainly well under way, and one early merchandising example was this mass market square bound magazine, featuring short articles and commentary and pictures, pictures, pictures, black & white and colour, of the Sean Connery iteration of Bond and his friends, foes and femmes fatales. Costing 3/6 – a lot, back in the day – this glossy quality magazine was confirmation of the mega-hit status of the Bond franchise. Features information and photos from the first three James Bond films by Ian Fleming including - Dr No, From Russia With Love and Goldfinger. The magazine is in very good condition over all, which is amazing considering that it is now over 55 years old, the front and back covers are nice clean and bright, with only some very minor signs of wear along the edges. The spline is also in fantastic condition, again with only very minor signs of wear on the edges. Internally the book is in fantastic condition, all 68 pages are present and correct, they are clean and bright without any signs of damage or wear on any page.
